The Oasis
7 Days / 6 Nights

Day 1 - Cairo / Bhareya / Gharb Kebir
Your Safari Journey will start in the morning by driving from Cairo to Bhareya Oasis (340km). You will stop in the oasis for lunch and proceed along the ancient caravan route to Darb Siwa. Camp in the dunes of El Ghard El Kebir. (LD)

Day 2 - Sitra / Watia / Arag Nature Reseve
Follow the caravan route along the northeastern edge of Sand Sea. You will visit the isolated lakes and spectacular landscape of desert oasis of Sitra and Watia, a constituent of a recently declared Natural Reserve. You will stop for lunch and you will continue to camp in the neighborhood of the spectacular depression of Arag, known for its signifecant natural habitats and Roman Rock-Tombs. (BLD).

Day 3 - Siwa
Arrive at the Oasis of Jupiter Amen. Enroute you will have the opportunity to dip into Abu Shuruf located on the shores of Lake Zaytone, which is considered to be one of the Sahara’s magical springs. Visit Siwa’s archaeological sites, the Temple of the Oracle, Temple of Amun and the ancient fortress of Shali. You will camp for overnight in the dunes amid the overwhelming greenery of the oasis. Day 4 - Bhareya Oasis
After a walking tour through the Siwa’s palm groves you will travel along the route of Alexander the Great towards the Oasis and Lakes of Bhareya. In the afternoon you will visit the rock tombs of Bhareya. You will camp in the dunes of the Sand Sea. (BLD)

Day 5 - The Great Sand Sea
Travel along the dunes of the Great Sand Sea towards Ain Dalla. Besides the sound adventure, and the geo-archeological attractions you will encounter during the crossing, you will find that the drive itself is the days destination (BLD)

Day 6 - White Desert
Visit the outstanding Nummulite Scarp, made of billions of cretaceous fossils and rocks of marine origin. In the afternoon you will arrive to Ain Dalla the only surface water source in western Egypt. You will continue to White Desert Protected Area for your night camp. (BLD)

Day 7 - Farafara
Your return journey to Cairo will take you through the small Farafra Oasis, Black Deasert and Baharia Oasis. You will arrive in Cairo in the early evening. (BL)
