12 Days / 11 Nights Chennani, Madurai, Periyar, Alleppey Boat House, Kochin, Bengaluru, Mysore and Hassan

Day 1 – Chennai
Upon arrival in Chennai you will be met by our representative assisted through formalities and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 2 – Chennai
After breakfast your will visit ‘Gateway to the South’ the first city of South India, you will visit the Fort St. George, Kalakshetra, San Thome Cathedral Basilica and Sri Kaliswarar Temples, you will continue to Mahabalipuram where you will visit the Shore Temple, a world heritage monument. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 3 – Chennai / Madurai
After breakfast we drive out of city to Kanchipuram, which is one of Hinduism’s seven most sacred cities famous for its silk weavers who settled in this area in the 16th century. In the afternoon you will transfer to airport for your flight to Madurai. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 4 – Madurai
Today visit the great Meenakshi Temple, Tirumalai Nayaka Palace, Alagar Hills and Tirupara Kundran Rock temple. Evening visit to Meenakshi Temple for Prayer ceremony. Overnight at Hotel. (B).
Day 5 – Madurai / Periyar
After breakfast drive to Periyar. In the afternoon you will take a boat ride on the lake for touring the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 6 – Periyar / Alleppey / House Boat
After breakfast you will drive to Alleppey for embarkation on your houseboat for an overnight backwater cruise. The boat cruise takes you to small islets & you get glimpses of village at the best of its serenity and innocence. Overnight on board.

Day 7 – Alleppey / Kochin
After breakfast you will disembark the Houseboat and drive to Kochin, and transfer to hotel. Day at leisure. In the evening see Kathakali Dance Show. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 8 – Kochin
After breakfast visit the towns of Kochi and Ernakulam with visits to the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica. While driving along the coastline, at the Harbour’s mouth, view the unique and still-in-use “Chinese Fishing Nets” your tour ends in the Fort Kochi area where you can walk through the historical Dutch and Portuguese buildings. Some parts of this nearly 500-year-old Fort are still amazingly well preserved.Ovrnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 9 – Cochin / Bengaluru / Mysore
After breakfast you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Bengaluru (Bangalore)
Upon arrival you will continue by car to Mysore balance of day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 10 – Mysore
Morning take a tour of Mysore, including City Palace, Chamundi Hill. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 11 – Mysore / Hassan
After breakfast drive to Hassan enroute we visit Belur and Halebid, one of the finest specimens of Hoysalan architecture which include, temple of Lord Channekeshava, Hoysaleswara Temple. In the afternoon, drive to Mysore. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 12 – Hassan / Bengaluru / Enroute
After Breakfast drive to Bengaluru where you will visit Tipu’s Palace. In the evening you will transfer to Bengaluru airport to board your onward flight. (B)
