Tour IN5 - Rajasthan and North India
15 Days / 13 Nights Delhi, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra, Orcha, Khajuraho, Varanasi

Day 1 – Enroute
An overnight flight from Toronto to Delhi.

Day 2 – Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.

Day 3 – Delhi
After breakfast we start a city sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. You will visit 300-year-old Chandni Chowk market, continue to the Jama Masjid or Friday You pass through the Red Fort that dominates this area. The tour of New Delhi includes the visit of Qutab Minar continue to Humayun’s tomb. Return to Hotel and Overnight. (B)

Day 4 – Delhi / Jodhpur
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon you will transfer to Delhi airport for your flight to Jodhpur. Upon arrival Jodhpur you will visit Mehrangarh Fort. Continue to visit the Jaswant Thada, a cluster of royal cenotaphs in the white marble built in 1899 AD in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh-II. We stop at the Clock Tower and the nearby Sardar Market a historical local trading market for Spices. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 5 – Jodhpur / Udaipur via Ranakpur

After breakfast you will depart for Udaipur enroute visiting Ranakpur Temples, built in the 15th century, situated in the lovely Aravali valley. Continue drive to Udaipur. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 6 – Udaipur
Start your city sightseeing tour of Udaipur with its lakes and palaces, cradled in the hills of the Aravalli range. We visit the City Palace, and the Suraj Gokhada, Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Bhim Vilas, Mor Chowk (the peacock courtyard), and the Zenana Mahal. Also visit the Jagdish Temple, and the Sahelion ki bari Gardens. We then take a boat ride at Lake Pichola, Visit the island palace, Jag Niwas with its beautiful setting on the lake. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 7 – Udaipur /Jaipur
After breakfast we drive to Jaipur. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 8 – Jaipur
In the morning you will visit the Maharaja’s city Palace, the former Royal residence part of it converted into a museum, continue to visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted Observatory in the world. Enjoy a Motor Rickshaw ride in the local bazaars. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 9 Jaipur / Fatepur Sikri / Agra

After breakfast you will visit the Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s most acclaimed landmark, continue your drive to Fate Sikri A world heritage site, its highlights are Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and Dargah of Sheikh alim Chisti, continue to Agra, where you will make a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 10 – Agra
A morning visit to the Taj Mahal, In the afternoon you will visit the Agra Fort on the banks of the Yamuna River. In the Afternoon you will take a Tonga (Horse Carriage) to the gates of the world famous Taj Mahal. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 11 – Agra / Jhansi / Orcha
Transfer to Agra Train Station for your train to Jhansi, continue by road to Orcha, a medieval village where time has stopped. You will see the Palace Complex consisting of palaces, temples, cenotaphs, and memorials. The complex can be reached by a multi-arched bridge where you would find three palaces in a quadrangle. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 12 – Orcha / Khajuraho
Drive to Khajuraho, where you will visit the Eastern Group of temples includes the Ghantai, Vamana Temples dedicated to the “Vamana” or dwarf incarnation of Lord Vishnu and the Javari Temple. There are three Jain Temples with beautiful carvings sculptures. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 13 – Khajuraho / Varanasi
After breakfast you will begin your sightseeing with a visit of the Western Group of Temples Western Group. The most important temple being the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple and Chaunsat Yogini Jain Temple. In the afternoon you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi, Upon arrival you will transfer to hotel, Evening visit to witness Aarti Ceremony (collective prayer) and watch the floating oil lamps on the river Ganges. The Ghats and temples are lit with oil-lamp lights or candles in the evening and people perform prayers. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 14 – Varanasi
Transfer to the banks of the River Ganges where we take a boat ride on River Ganges. visit the Old city of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata Mandir, Durga Temple and drive pass Beneras Hindu University.  Continue   to Sarnath, the site where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. visit the ruins of the brick temple representing the Mula- gandha kuti, ruins of stupas and monasteries. Among the more imposing ones are the Dhamekh Stupa and the Mulgandha Kuti Vihar Temple. Continue to visit Varanasi, Bharat Mata Mandir, Durga, beautiful Tulsi Manas Temple, Banaras Hindu and the New Vishwanath temple in the University Campus. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 15 – Varanasi / Delhi / Enroute
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi with a connecting flight to your final destination. (B)
