Morocco a mosaic of cultures.
Morocco is located in North Africa, bordering the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, southern border with Western Sahara, eastern border with Algeria, a country with many beaches and four mountain ranges.
Morocco is a mosaic of Cultures and has always been a land of exchanges and encounters. Since early Antiquity, it has been a land of successive invasions, by the Phoenicians, then the Romans and the Byzantines. Here, Berber, Arab, Jewish and Christian cultures have learned to live together. Each has contributed its genius, making Morocco a land of tolerance and shared beauty.
Marrakech, Rabat , Fez and Meknès are the imperial cities because at some time they were all Morocco’s capital. There have been great dynasties who have built majestic religious edifices and sublime palaces. Not forgetting the medina’s with their magical colours, real labyrinths protected by their ramparts, organized around Souks and market squares, like the world-renowned Djemaa el-Fna in Marrakech.
This country has many other jewels, like the architectural treasures of the ramparts of Essaouira or Asilah, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the Arab-Andalusian constructions of Tétouan and the more cosmopolitan urban style of Rabat , Casablanca or Tangiers or the imposing beauty of large fortified villages, the Ksours, the great valleys of the south.
Agadir is Southern Morocco’s most visited city and a very popular tourist destination.
