Tour T2 - Istanbul and the Aegean
7 Days / 6 Nights Istanbul, Izmir, Ephesus, Pergamum

Day 1 - Arrival Istanbul
Upon arrival at Istanbul airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 - Istanbul
After breakfast you will visit the Topkapi Palace, great residence of Ottoman Sultans, now a world famous museumyou will visit the Hagia Sophia Church the architectural glory of the 6th. century Byzantine basilica, the Blue Mosque, Byzantine Hippodrome the site of chariot races and now an open-air exhibition park with a number of monuments. After lunch you will visit the Grand Bazaar containing more than 4000 shops. (BL)

Day 3 - Istanbul
After breakfast you will being a morning tour of Dolmabache Palace or take a cruise on the Bosphorus. (depending on the Weather). Balance of day at leisure in Istanbul. (B)

Day 4 - Izmir / Ephesus / Izmir
After breakfast you will transfer to the airport for a flight to Izmir. Drive to Selcuk, to visit the world-famous Antique city of Ephesus, including the 2000 year old Marble Street, Antique Theater, roman baths and the Celcus Library. In the afternoon you will visit the Basilica of St. John and the Shrine of the Virgin Mary, Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Izmir. (BL)

Day 5 - Pergamum / Izmir
After breakfast you depart for Pergamum to visit the Asklepium Sanctuary and the Acropolis including the Altar of Zeus and the medical center of Asklepion, work site of the great physician, Galen. Return to Izmir for overnight. (BL)

Day 6 - Izmir / Istabul
Transfer to Izmir airport for flight to Istanbul. Arrival Istanbul and transfer to your Hotel for overnight. (B)

Day 7 - Enroute
Transfer to Istanbul airport for your departure. (B)
