Itinerary

Day 1 - Bangkok

Upon arrival at the Bangkok airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2 - Bangkok

In the morning, begin your day with a drive to infamous floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Boats with goods float along the river for the daily market. Return to your hotel and enjoy some time of leisure exploring the city. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 3 - Bangkok

Enjoy a day of leisure exploring the city on your own. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 4 - Bangkok / Ayutthaya / Lopburi / Phitsanuloke

After breakfast, head towards the ancient capital city of Ayutthaya and visit its Buddhist temples including Wat Phra Si Sanpeth. En route, stop at the Royal palace in Bang Pa In. Continue to Lopburi for a tour of its unique temples along with the nearby stone temple of Prang Sam Yod. Continue to your hotel for overnight. (BL)

Day 5 - Phitsanuloke / Sukhothai / Chiang Rai

After breakfast, drive to Sukhothai, the kingdom often viewed as the “golden age” of Thai Civilization. Today, enjoy a visit to the temples Wat Sra Sri and Wat Si Chum. Continue to Chiang Rai. Overnight at your hotel. (BL)

Day 6 - Chiang Rai

Begin your day towards Chiang Rai. North Thailand is well known for its exotic hill tribes and this morning we will visit some of their villages. The drive takes us on narrow hilly roads through beautiful landscape with spectacular views to the villages of the Akha and Yao hill tribes. Then drive to Mae Sai, which is the most northern town of Thailand on the border of Burma. Take lunch then continue to the center of the infamous “Golden Triangle“, the meeting point of the borders of Burma, Laos and Thailand. Visit to the old Opium House before continuing to the provincial town of Chiang Saen, which is located at the scenic borders of the Mekong River. Overnight at your hotel. (BL)

Day 7 - Chiang Rai / Chiang Mai

Depart for Chiang Mai, Thailand’s “Rose of the North,” a cultural and natural wonderland with ethnic diversity. Located among the rolling foothills of the Himalayan Mountains 700 km north of Bangkok, it could only be reached by an arduous river journey or an elephant trek until the 1920s. This isolation helped keep Chiang Mai’s distinctive charm intact. Drive to Wat Phra Dhat Doi Suthep mountain temple then continue to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a ‘Kantoke’ traditional dinner while watching elegant Thai dancers perform. Overnight at your hotel. (BLD)

Day 8 - Chiang Mai

Today, visit an elephant farm where you will learn how to care for these incredible creatures. Located around a beautiful lush tropical valley, you may have an opportunity to trek into the jungle reaching a spring of water to bathe them. Return to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. (B)

Day 9 - Chiang Mai

Enjoy a day of leisure exploring the city on your own. Optional tour to visit Tiger Kingdom and an Orchid Farm available. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 10 - Chiang Mai / Koh Samui

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Koh Samui. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy some time of leisure. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 11 - Koh Samui  

Enjoy a day of leisure relaxing on the beach. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 12 - Koh Samui  

Enjoy a day of leisure relaxing on the beach. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 13 - Koh Samui / Bangkok

Transfer to from your resort the airport for your return flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (B)

Day 14 - Bangkok / En Route

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
