Itinerary
Day 1 – Istanbul
Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 – Istanbul
Visit the Hagia Sophia Church, an architectural wonder of the 6th century, the Byzantine basilica, the Blue Mosque, and the Byzantine Hippodrome, now an open-air exhibition park with a number of monuments. Visit the Topkapi Palace, a museum that was once the residence of Ottoman Sultans. Explore the Grand Bazaar with more than 4000 shops. Overnight at your hotel. (BL)
Day 3 – Istanbul
After breakfast, tour Dolmabahce Palace, or take a cruise on the Bosphorus. Enjoy time discovering the city on your own. Overnight at your hotel. (B)
Day 4 - Izmir / Ephesus / Izmir
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Izmir. Drive to Selcuk, to visit the world-famous Antique city of Ephesus, including the Marble Street, Antique Theater, roman baths and the Celcus Library. In the afternoon, you will visit the Shrine of the Virgin Mary. Enjoy time of leisure. Overnight at your hotel. (BL)
Day 5 - Pergamum / Izmir / Istanbul
After breakfast, depart for Pergamum to visit the Asklepium Sanctuary and the Acropolis including the Altar of Zeus. Transfer to Izmir airport for flight to Istanbul. Overnight at your hotel. (BL)
Day 6 – Istanbul
Enjoy some time of leisure exploring the city on your own. (B)
Day 7 – Istanbul
Transfer to Istanbul airport for your departure. (B)
