Day 1 (Fri) – En route
An overnight flight from Toronto to Casablanca.
Day 2 (Sat) - Casablanca
Upon arrival at the Casablanca airport, you will be met by our representative, who will assist and transfer you to your hotel. (D)
Day 3 (Sun) - Casablanca / Rabat
After breakfast, start your panoramic sightseeing tour of this important dynamic metropolis including a visit to the dazzling Hassan II mosque, and the Central Market. In the afternoon, you will continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, set in a rich coloured landscape. Overnight in Rabat at your hotel. (BD)
Day 4 (Mon) - Rabat / Fes
After breakfast, your sightseeing will begin with a visit to the “Imperial garden city”, the Kasbah of Oudayas, Hassan Tower and walls of the Mechouar which surround the royal palace. In the afternoon, you will depart for Meknes set in the heart of the Moroccan countryside. En route, make a short visit to Moulay Idriss, a sacred Islamic town, passing by the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Upon arrival in the historic city of Meknes, start your sightseeing tour of the “Moroccan Versailles,” a town founded in the 17th Century by the King Moulay Ismael. The architecture and surroundings have remained unchanged for centuries. A multitude of passages, stairways and small courtyards leads into maze of merchant streets. Overnight at your hotel in Fes. Day 5 (Tue) - Fes
After breakfast, spend the day sightseeing the holy city of Fes which is the oldest of the Imperial cities. Visit the medieval Medina and religious Islamic centers which include Medrasas, Karaouine Mosque and Nejjarine Fountain. In the afternoon, visit the famous Souks of Fes bustling with artisans and merchants, its captivating sounds, fragrances and colour mesmerize the visitors with a constant swirl of activity. Overnight at your hotel in Fes. (BD)
Day 6 (Wed) - Fes / Midelt / Erfoud / Merzouga
After breakfast, depart for Erfoud via the mountains and Ifrane a delightful ski resort, well known for its wood carvings. Stop in Midelt. Continue to Erfoud via Errachidia for your exciting 4x4 excursion to Merzouga. Overnight at your hotel. Option to overnight in berber tents available. (BD)
Day 7 (Thr) - Erfoud / Rissani / Tinghir / Ouarzazate
Enjoy a morning at leisure. In the afternoon, visit Rissani, the capital of the Tafilalet, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouites dynasty is buried. You will also visit the 17th century Kasbah and the imposing ruins of Ksar Abbar. Continue to Tinghir via Tinejdad road with its magnificent kasbahs. You will visit the Todgha canyons. Depart for Ouarzazate through the road of a thousand Kasbahs and the Dades valley. Overnight at your hotel. (BD)
Day 8 (Fri) - Ouarzazate / Ait Benhaddou / Marrakesh
In the morning, depart from Ouarzazate for Marrakesh. En route, visit the Kasbah of Taouirt and Ait Benhaddou fortress, once the film set of “Lawrence of Arabia.” Upon arrival in Marrakech, transfer to your hotel for overnight. (BD)
Day 9 (Sat) - Marrakech
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing of Marrakech, the “pearl of the south” founded by the Almoravides Dynasty at the end of 11th Century. You will also discover the souks of Marrakech with its multi coloured wools and the Djemaa El Fna square. In the afternoon, visit Saadiens Tombs, Dar Si Said Museum, Menara and Agdal Gardens, the Koutoubia, and the Bahia Palace. Overnight at your hotel in Marrakech. (BL)
Day 10 (Sun) - Marrakech / Essaouira
In the morning you will depart for Essaouira, famously called “Mogador”. Visit of the “Scala”, the Sea-Port and the Medina. (BD)
Day 11 (Mon) - Essaouira / Safi / El Jadida / Casablanca
Today, drive to Safi. You will visit the Portuguese Sea-Castle, The Pottery’s Hill and continue to Oualidia, a seaside resort famous for its oyster farming. In the afternoon, continue to El Jadida, once called “Mazagan” by the Portuguese. Drive to Casablanca and overnight at your hotel. (BD)
Day 12 (Tue) - Casablanca / En Route
Transfer to the airport for your departure. (B)
